What do you believe is the purpose of a college education? I believe that the purpose of a college education is to further your education beyond your Secondary Level education. I believe college also is to train you for your future employment. College is were you find yourself and grow up. I believe that you grow into yourself also in college. What does it mean to be educated? To be educated means certain things to everyone. For one person it may mean to know how to heard sheep and to another it may mean to know their times tables. I believe as long as you obtain everything that is given to you and you have fulfilled your total potential then you are well educated. What experiences have you had with education that led you to this belief? I have had many experiences as I was growing up. My mom was a CCD teacher for 20 years and a Elementary school teacher for many more. My dad is a computer conultant who never went to college and has made more money than he could ever imagine. Also, I am part ot the Howell Police Athletic League (P.A.L) back at home which opeoned my eyes to many things. I also have family over in Ireland and through out the country. My one uncle believe that you get educated by traveling, exploring, and going out of the box. I believe I recieved my opinion about education through all of these experiences I had.
